The Turkana tribe are related to the Maasai tribe and live in the Rift Valley Province of Kenya, just above the equator. They are a semi-nomadic tribe and they dress in traditional clothing made of bright red material which is wound around their bodies like a skirt. They are also well known for their multi-coloured beaded jewellery.
