Their traditional clothing consists of a loin cloth or goatskin skirt. They rub a mixture of red ochre and fat on their bodies to protect them from the sun and give their appearance a rich reddish colour. The women are known for their intricate hairstyles and traditional jewellery made of iron and shells, and even their children are adorned with jewellery.
